Training on Sunday is now back to Fenners Gallery starting from this coming Sunday 6 September.
Please remember that on Sunday we’ll run, in parallel to the usual class a grading session for those who qualify.
As previously annouced the Combat Kickboxing Academy has organised a Light Contact Continuous competition in Thurston (near Bury St. Edmund) for the 27 September 2009.
All members interested in participating should notify Massimo by Email, by 10 September 2009, indicating their weight, date of birth and number of fights to date. Each participant must be prebooked and he/she will be prematched with opponents of similar weight, ability and experience in order to maximize fairness and the quality of the competition itself.
Cost of participating to the competition is £12 to be paid in advance: visitors can pay at the door £6.
Please find enclosed the rules (directly copied from the organizer’s letter) that apply:
Training for Monday 31st august will be held in the Histon Road Recreation ground between 5 and 7pm (and not 6:30-8:30pm).
In case of bad weather (e.g. rain) we apologise in advance for cancelling the session.
CARISMA is running a new beginners course, starting on the 17 September to run for 4 consecutives Thursday and Tuesday classes (e.g. 17, 22, 24, 29).
September is usually a busy month so we might not have a beginners’s course in October. If you would like to join (or you know somebody who would like to) please do it on the 17th.
If you would like to advertise our beginners course at your company or your social club please feel free to download and print our flyer at this page.
There is no need for booking for beginners: please just turn up at 6pm at Kelsey Kerridge Sports Hall, Queen Anne terrace, Cambridge.
